Tattoo time.

I, like many, tend to focus on my hands when I am sad. I fiddle with my fingers; I look down into my open palms. I seem to look at them, as if there is something they can tell me. Therefore, they will be tattooed with my own personal messages to brighten my day when I am down.

Inside Left Hand.
Across the inside of my fingers, in capital letters will be the word Hope.
I feel as though, this is a tattoo which will remind me that although things get bad, there is always a glimpse of hope. When I am sad and I look down into my open hands, I will see Hope staring back at me.

Inside Right Hand.
On my inside right ring finger, I will have a small detailed heart. Some people say they wear their hearts on their sleeves, where as I would say I wear my heart on my hands. My writing is the only time that I ever truly express myself, and this small heart will be my way of encouraging myself to write it out, rather than keep it in.

Thumbs.
On my left thumb, I will have a small set of glasses with a lightening bolt, and on my right thumb, I will have the Deathly Hallows. This is to make me smile. Harry Potter was never just a book to me; it is what got me through. Maybe that’s too cliché for you, but I am not doing this for you.

Knuckles.
Eventually I would love to get ‘Tea Time’ with a small tea pot too. This is also because my plan for the next few years is to open a store called ‘Hightea Time’, where I sell small tea trinkets and offer and in-home high tea experience. And also, I love tea.

I have found that my smaller tattoos all seem to have the most meaning, but I am okay with this.
